Como los globos
que flotan en las fiestas,
tengo, para no desinflarme,
un nudo en el estomago.
Like the balloons
that float at parties,
I have a knot on my belly
so I won't go flat.
~Alberto Forcarda (Mexico)
Nice to read your blog. I, too was derailed from a China adoption after jumping through all of the hoops in the states and completing my dossier. It was the right path.
Trust your gut...
I am also unable to "try". Somewhere along the journey, it became less about trying and more about choosing. Our adoption had little to do with my health circumstances (which look awful on paper), and more to do with destiny. I can say with complete sincerity that we chose to adopt Dawit because we saw his photo and fell in love.
