Hey there,

Just wanted to let you know that I've been reading even though I haven't commented in awhile. I'm sorry things have been so rough of late. Do you think the unpredictable scheduling through the holidays may be a contributing factor? We just moved across the country, and even with the same routines and schedules, I really see some security issues popping up with 14 month old Astrid Meklit, which isn't surprising, just challenging at times. I know when I taught it always felt like we needed to get the long MLK weekend out of the way before the kids were resettled. Maybe you'll see the same at home in the next week or two.

I am always happy to read your honest posts about your struggles (not that I don't wish you sunshine and lollipops all the time, but it's helpful to read about the things that happen in your family). Post away--lots of us are here for you!

I will be thinking of you tomorrow and hope that it is a better day. Under the circumstances, it seems a bit wierd to say it is "my pleasure" to read your writing since you don't seem to be writing for the purpose of pleasing anybody, and the subject matter is tough. What I am trying to say is that I will be reading whatever you do write. Best wishes.

How utterly frustrating and exhausting! I wish I had some sage words of advice, but I'm at a loss. I hope that you are able to find a strategy that works for him soon, because that sounds incredibly difficult for all of you.
